Hong Kong’s first cross-communal relief effort to raise funds and support for people of the Haiti earthquake. Guanxi Connections organized and helped raise over HK$390,000 working with major sponsors such as The Grand Hyatt, Inter Continental, Mandarin Oriental hotels and 73 other major sponsors alike. HK TATLER COUTURE KANCHAN COUTURE FASHION SHOW
Date: 22nd October ‘09 Venue: Play, LKF
A spectacular fashion show designed by Hong Kong’s up-and-coming Entrepreneur of the Year and fashion guru. Showcasing designs to over 700 prestige guests, celebrities and major press. The event was organised by Guanxi Connections with HK Tatler Couture as the media sponsor, and Paul Gerard as the hair and make-up sponsor.

JOEL DUNN RUGBY AND BOXING CHARITY FUND
Date: 29th August ’09 Venue: Hong Kong Football Club
Guanxi Connections joined forces with JAB and launched a fabulous night of 7 top-action bouts. Australian champion Matthew Corbett and others raised funds for a well-known and beloved member of the rugby community. Over 520 guests attended the black-tie event, themed “Al Capone” style, sharing their love for Joel, rugby and boxing. Over HK$420,000 was raised for Joel and the Leukemia Charity Fund.

- Salvador Dali’s and Crown Fine Art Department Launch Party – Attracted over 300 guests; managed the budgeting, gifts, menu, staff, running and hosting, and co-ordinated the transport logistics of Salvador Dali’s renowned statues.
- Christmas Salsa Party – Attracted over 40 guests, delivering salsa lessons, canapés and cocktails.
- Pottery Party – Over 25 guests, in-house lessons, canapés and cocktails.
- Tram party – Over 25 guests, canapés and cocktails.
- Family Day Party – Kids entertainment show, BBQ, pony rides, and Australian wine tasting for 35 families.
- Artjamming Party – 15 guests, painting materials, canapés and cocktails.

- Monthly Tea Times – In conjunction with the YWCA, co-hosted by partners such as Ryder Diamonds and Kanchan Couture, there is always an average of 40 high-net individuals in attendance at the Shangri-La Hotel.
